Free Summer Movie Nights

In sad news, the San Francisco Parks Alliance is in financial trouble and will not have its free Sundown Cinema in 2025.

Here is a list of free outdoor films this summer:

Mill Valley Movies in the park: August 1 (Luca), Sept 5 (Inside Out 2), Oct 3 (Little Mermaid 2023). https://www.cityofmillvalley.gov/840/Movies-in-the-Park

Mountain View  Summer Outdoor Movie Night Series, 6 Friday evenings through August 15. All movies begin at 8:30 p.m. or dark. 6 film schedule at https://www.mountainview.gov/our-city/departments/community-services/special-events/summer-outdoor-movie-night-series

Union Square Movie nights: Saturday, August 16th with Mrs. Doubtfire, followed by Disney’s “Big Hero 6” on Saturday, September 20th, and will conclude on Saturday, October 4th with Alfred Hitchcock’s classic “The Birds”. Each screening will be preceded by a preshow curated by Alamo Drafthouse, featuring movie trivia, prizes, and entertainment.
