What Happens to Fleet Week SF During The Government Shutdown?

The Airshow will continue (without U.S. military jets) and the Canadian military Snowbird jets will still perform. The Patriot jet team will perform as well.

Ship tours of Canadian and Colombian navy ships will still occur near the Exploratorium. The Columbian ship tours are daily through Monday. The Canadian Navy ship tour is Sunday only from 10-5.

The emergency preparedness partners will still have displays at Marina Greens.

However, there will be no involvement from the Navy, Marines, Coast Guard or Army during Fleet Week. (The Army participated by having exhibits at the Fleet Week Fest in Soma last year.)

Fleet Fest has moved to Fishermen’s Wharf by the sky carousel and looks to be tiny. I don’t think the Warriors will be giving away swag this year
