Los Angeles Sales Tax Increase Effective October 1, 2026
Many cities and counties are increasing their sales taxes October 1, 2026.
Most of these increases are in Southern California with the notable increase in Los Angeles from 9.75% to 10.25%. Some cities in Socal will now pay 10.5% (compared to 8.625% in San Francisco)
