Act Fast. The Electric Vehicle Charging Tax Credit Expires June 30

One Big Beautiful Bill Act changed the termination date for the IRC Section 30C alternative fuel vehicle refueling property credit from December 31, 2032, to June 30, 2026. You can't claim the credit for alternative fuel vehicle refueling property placed in service after June 30, 2026 so it must be INSTALLED by this date.

One requirement is that the property be at a qualified census tract (rural or low-income community). Surprisingly, there are places in San Francisco that qualify)
