Bay Area Winter Family Events

Let’s Glow SF, the country’s largest holiday projection event, will return to downtown San Francisco from December 5th through 14th. This FREE outdoor holiday event will use high-tech projectors and lasers to showcase large-scale pieces of animated art across the facade of four iconic SF buildings from 5:30-10 PM nightly. eight landmark buildings across downtown will be illuminated with large-scale projections created by 19 artists from around the world, turning architecture into art and the city into a walkable gallery of light. This winter, radiant icebergs will help light the way between Let’s Glow SF show locations. Built by LeMonde Studio, each of the six glowing icebergs comes to life the moment you step up and interact, a quick 20-second burst of human power triggers a whimsical winter tune and illuminates the iceberg for up to 12 minutes!

Winterfest Salesforce Park on the weekend of December 5–7. Bundle up and join us for a weekend full of festive fun, including the holiday tree lighting starting at 5 p.m. in the Main Plaza on December 5tsalesforce park  lighting December 5 at 5pm. The holiday festivities begin on the night of December 5th with live music from the band Magic Nostalgia, dancing, and a countdown to the park’s holiday illumination at 5:30 p.m. Other weekend highlights include a morning of holiday kids events, an Ugly Sweater Silent Disco, a screening of the film Frozen Sing-Along, and an all-day wreath making party.
