Submit Your FAFSA College Financial Aid Form Beginning October 1

To qualify for college financial aid you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA.

It's best to submit the FAFSA as soon as possible because some colleges award their aid on a first-come, first-served basis.

You must complete the FAFSA  each year you attend school. The FAFSA is available on October 1. and you generally have until June 30 to submit your FAFSA, but some states and schools have earlier deadlines.

The 2020-2021 FAFSA (July 1, 2020–June 30, 2021) can be submitted beginning October 1, 2019 and is due June 30, 2020. The 2020-2021 FAFSA uses income reported 2 years earlier (i.e. 201 tax returns).
